Leatherface should suffer just as much as any killer
Leatherface is the only killer who can defy anti-tunnel mechanic. While I get why killers tunnel, they all share the same "penalty", more like survivors having endurance. He can down with one chainsaw that survivor by simply hitting him twice, making him the only killer that can completely ignore this feature.
The other thing I wanted to mention is he and hillbilly have the same brown addons that deal one hit only. Yet Leatherface can ignore that aswell by simply hitting the same survivor multiple times with that chainsaw. While I am not a big fan of meme addons, it very much benefits Leatherface with those points. (not looking at clown here)
I think Leatherface should be able to hit any survivor once in one chainsaw attack, regardless of the addons, mechanics, and survivor protections they have.

The most likely time for this to happen is when they do a full pass on him like his addons and improving his flow of his tokens. i don't see them dropping this out of nowhere because he still has other issues (addons with drawbacks in 2026)
If you want to change him for anti-tunnel the change should be that when survivor gets hit while having endurance would kick him out of power. That way he can't use the chainsaw to hit the unhooked twice. There should not be limitations of how many times he can hit a full health normal survivor without endurance.
Tbh Leatherface is so bad of a killer that removing his camping ability would make him a survivor.

That you used the word "suffer" is telling.
Every killer has strengths and weaknesses.
Bubba's strength is that he has immense snowball potential and can punish bad unorganised unhooks. That basically is his only strength apart from eating pallets for breakfast.
If you take away this one strength from him, he gets even weaker than he already is in an environment where high mobility killers eat their competition alive (survivors and killers alike).
Just leave him as is. That one game against Bubba every 30 games isn't that bad to endure.

I get what you mean, it's really frustrating and boring to play against, but unfortunately a change to actually make hook protections effective against him would probably have to come in a patch where he received a buff or rework. As it is, although really good Bubbas can snowball really hard, the majority of Bubbas that aren't as good with the chainsaw only have the strength of camping. I wish it was removed too, it's just probably not going to happen on it's own, and whatever change they end up doing should only affect unhook protections and not his gameplay as a whole.
It's also worth mentioning that, while not as easy as Bubba, other killers can get around unhook protections, especially with basement. If we're talking normal hooks, Houndmaster can dog you off of hook while batting away other survivors and waiting out your unhook protections, and Knight can time his guard after you're unhooked so he can potentially double tap you. In basement, Deathslinger can shoot you off of hook from the stairs and break your endurance in the basement while he's at the top of the stairs, Jason can spike you and throw you backwards so he can double hit you, honestly ranged killers in general can hit you from the top of the stairs and double tap you. Anti-camp and unhook protections just straight up aren't effective against some killers and in certain situations, and unfortunately that's just how it is.

As survivor I always wanted a white t-shirt with Bubbas face on it would be the ultimate cosmetic.
Bubba is my favorite killer to go against as survivor as he’s so easy to loop. Try playing as him against anyone who is even moderately skilled as survivor. He’s pretty bad and probably among the killers least deserving of complaints in the game.
