Bloodlust 3 should be removed
Bloodlust as a whole is completely necessary to the game. Although I didn't play back then, the game was absolutely busted without it. Bloodlust 1 is absolutely necessary, Bloodlust 2 is still necessary as there are certain play styles, loops, or just giving the survivor a timer that they need to reset with a pallet drop is needed. But Bloodlust 3 really only serves to reward playing poorly. It's not often that I run into a killer that gets Bloodlust 3, but it usually ends up that way because they play poorly and that's the only way they can get a down instead of learning how to play and getting better.

this is so far from actually being a problem
Well ye bloodlust 3 is outdated as heck, should be removed
what about infinite loops where the survivors can loop the windows infinitely if they killer doesnt get to bl3
also with pallet decity m1 killers rely on blood lust more then ever sense survivors can just go from loop to loop making it hard more m1 killers to catch up
Name them, or show pictures of which loops you mean
Yeah people love to talk about survivor second chance meanwhile we still have bloodlust 3.
Im not going to look for one in game sense it would take forever but when these 2 combine into a mega jungle with pallets around it its basicly infinit if the killer doesnt wave mobility or a way to stop one of the windows. so like on ghost face or trapper it can basicly be impossible to character good survivors here. and pallet dencity made the stronger spawning pallets around these mega loops
This is not a problem in the same way as something like Hex Jason or SWFs being so much more powerful than solo queue survivors, but bloodlust 3 doesn't really have a need to be in the game. I feel like I have heard several of the biggest content creators echoing this same thought at some point or another and I agree
Hm, yes, I see what you mean. Basically a connected set of very strong loops like long window jungle gym/LT wall/Shack/Main etc etc.
Yea, it's undeniably an issue now too, one which I can't thank bhvr enough for introducing with pallet density. It's lumberjack simulator for weaker killers, I personally witnessed some of the spawns and they bring back memories of 2018-2020 spawns, which aren't pleasant. Well, they were pleasant when I was playing survivor myself.
That is not an infinite, there have been no infinites in DBD for years. At best you can shift tech, but the most effective place for that is shack, and that can be countered with one good mindgame. These tiles, even together, are not infinite, and will eventually be blocked from being vaulted. bl2 would be plenty enough to help in chase, you would literally already be going 25% faster than the survivor 25 seconds into chase.
I should add that pallet density is an issue, but with pallet density you're going to have to break some pallets and reset bloodlust anyways so that the tons of pallets dont just sit waiting to be used for later (which is of course the issue with pallet density, damned if you damned if you dont)
i don't think the game should have rubberband mechanics necessarily but a killer whos triggering bloodlust 3 with enough consistency for it to be relevant is not in any danger of winning the game against a competent team, letting a player whos struggling and going to lose get a few free hits during a super long chase isnt a big deal at all. out of all the things that need to be looked at this doesnt even break onto the list
Bloodlust 3 only kicks in after 35 seconds of the killer not using their power and not kicking pallets. If the killer is doing all that without getting a hit on a survivor, then Bloodlust 3 is not really a concern for the survivor team. The only way this would reward playing poorly is if the remaining survivors were not doing gens. In which case, chase time becomes irrelevant because the issue is the survivors not doing their objective while having no pressure put on them.
I don't understand why there has to be a "list" and why this would be so difficult to add to it, it's literally just remove tier 3, bam. That's it. And the reason for that is that at bl2 most killers will already be moving at 125% speed, which is fast enough to easily catch a survivor on pretty much any loop. With bl3 it rewards killers for playing poorly and creates impossible scenarios for survivors that may be playing optimally. There are a lot of other things the game needs to change, of which the community has named a ton of them and I'm not going to have every post I make echo the same thoughts everyone has already said. This doesn't have to be a "big deal," but it's still something that can easily be changed and should be.
Bloodlust was buffed to kick in faster but the speed might be also increased. Currently the each lvl is 0.2m/s = 5 %, max 0.6m/s = 15 %, I'd make it 7 % per lvl, max 21 %. It would not matter to antiloop killers or strong killers who don't trigger any form of bloodlust for most of the game and will make playing nonmobility, no antiloop killers easier. Also Rapid brutality would need to be compensated to be 7 % at least.
It's over and over again. OG killers are significantly weaker then new killers and they need tweaks. The current game is more balanced around more popular stuffs. Most of my surv games are Jason, Wesker or Ghoul… like 80 % of them, so it makes sense. Older killers will always suffer not having everything in their kit.
Eh, more like game's balanced around brain damage stuff, where survivors lost the need to manage resources carefully, and killers in exchange get reworks like current Clown or Myers, which made them strong but so straightforward. I completely dislike balancing direction they are going at the moment, it's a "If everything is straight dumb op, then nothing is" one
