Diminishing returns should affect Aura reading perks as well. And/Or DBD Classic Mode.
If you're going to nerf healing percentages, repair percentages, movement speed etc. then shouldn't perks that reveal also be nerfed? Same mechanic, stacking aura reading should be nerfed as well. Behaviour nerfed flashlights, gen kicks, hooks used to not respawn, like all of these "balance" changes that just feel super lopsided every single time. The game has left skill based gameplay for cheeze mechanics. So main post too many killer aura perks not getting hit with the "diminishing return" bat but also can we get a DBD classic mode? Old beamers, hooks don't respawn, hatch spawn before endgame etc. Let's play the game as it was intended untouched by "balance" ew.

It’s specifically stacking that got nerfed, not so much the perks themselves.
The thing with auras is that they’re revealed for a flat amount of time, and aren’t typically modified by percentages. Additionally, stacking auras doesn’t really exist in the same way stacking something like healing speed does. Two perks simultaneously revealing auras…doesn’t do anything extra.
So, like, it’s a different ballpark. It should still be doable, but it’ll require a different approach.
Yeah people are going to flock back to the game mode of brand new parts insta completing gens and ebony moris allowing you to insta kill everyone on first down.
I would lol. It would be fun to see a DBD classic mode. Like every broken perk combo, interaction etc. Like idk maybe remind us why the changes were made or even maybe peel back some of the changes who knows.
Instead of trying to make the game worse, why do we just remove Diminishing Returns and return to a time when there was a reason to not run meta and fun builds were at least somewhat useful.
If the idea of healing nerfs, repair speed nerfs, and move speed nerfs to survivors are unfair to you, I cannot fathom how you would enjoy an insta-down killer or stealth killer downing you first and getting you out of the game in sub 40 seconds.
