With how many hours in DBD did you discover this forum?
I only found this forum when i had already played DBD for a while and had roughly 2k hours.
So im curious. Is it normal to play the game a lot and then discover it or is the majority a lot faster?
And while im at it: are you still playing DBD? More or less? I have roughly 4.5k hours now, so it slowed down in the last 5 years.

I joined in 2020, I think I had around maybe 1k ish hours at that point since I'd been playing the game since Ghost Face & Ash released.
I play a lot less than I used to but I think it's better that way, playing this game too much is genuinely bad for you. Especially if you only stick to one role. I appreciate the game a lot more after a break.
I tend to take my breaks when there's big controversy going on. Like Krasue/Ghoul releases or the aftermath of the Walking Dead chapter.
I have an unusual path to DbD. I played it a few times when it released, looked into it a few years later, and both times wasn't interested. I then got into it again when VLDL was doing to comedy sketch on it, watched some play, and thought it looked pretty enjoyable with how things had changed.
So before I got into playing, I was familiar with the general community so found the forums really early. I even did posts chronicling my takes at certain hour points.
I was never a constant DbD player. Play it a lot for a few weeks, take a month off to play something else, repeat. The failures of the QoL initiative really put a damper on my desires to play the game and those gaps are getting larger.
Started just after Spirit came out, joined the forums shortly after the first rift dropped.
Don't know, was on the Steam forums long before this was created. Same boat though, 5k hours and not playing as much as the first 2k.
I knew about it for a while, but had no interest in joining since this place had a reputation for trolls and bad opinions. so why bother when reddit exists.

I joined in May 2018, and I started playing Dbd in September 2017, so probably around 800 hours.
Prolly before I hit a thousand hours.
Around 1k or so.
Now i got 2k, mostly on killer.
Most likely under 1k, but I am very sure that I was not above 1k hours at all.
joined around 2020, i don't remember my hours i had at that point fully but below 1k is a guarantee.
6-700 hours in I think. I joined in 2022, after coming across a weird, tipped-over locker on Garden of Joy.
Oooof, probably about 800-1000? Forums came out in May or June of 2018 and I had been playing for about a year. What I do remember is making a cringe ah tier list post when Legion came out and had about 1400 hours at that point.
what'd you think of Legion at the time?
I was in my OW phase at the time, but I saw the award show where they debuted Legion and I was like "amogus guy?" they certainly do not play like I woulda thought from that video
I thought the same as pretty much everyone else at the time, absolute terrible design and with so many flaws. So bad in fact I don't think a single killer has come even close to being as bad as them.
One very common misconception though is every body thinking they were a disguise killer on release which is simply not the case. By the time the trailer released we had already experienced the PTB a few weeks prior and already knew what they were all about.
I started playing when clown was released, forums I only started reading actively when twins got their trailer I had around 1200 hours back then if I remember correctly
