Its just a clever floor clip trap location. It's better not having these removed honestly cause it adds a lot of to Trapper's gameplay knowledge.
Looks like devs are bringing DBD to more realistic image, Carlos is bigger (thicker) than Dwight so he has bigger trap hitbox.
The trap is far away from the snap point.
That should be fixed.

It should be removed, that doesn't make any sense honestly.
It's annoying, not how it should be and totally not fair.
