What are you referring to? I can't see any insults
I think they mean this, but also that its the opposite of what is intended by OP:

If I'm reading it right, it looks like they were erring on the side of favoring the killers so that they weren't disadvantaged and then saying have fun. If anything, survivors would have more of a right to be angry that instead of being 'fixed' they were favoring the killer side (which, presuming a fix was impossible in the time frame, would have been the right call between those possibilites).
I wasn't actively playing then so if someone else was an remembers this being treated as an insult I'd be happy to hear the explanation.

Wish people would stop being weird and personal towards the devs. Alot of the behaviour I've seen is embarrassing enough.
Definitely a stretch. Peanits has a pretty squeaky clean reputation when it comes to talking with the community.
Its kinda creepy for someone to remember such an obscure detail from a bugfix post from 4 years ago... Who does that?
More likely he did a Google search for Peanits to see what he could dig up. Just weird.
A part of me is giggling at the idea of spellcheck making his first few attempts to Google "peanits" quite uncomfortable.
