Her current kit should get changed, but that rework is absolutely terrible.
Nah, that rework is exactly what she needs.
It completely changes the character's basis. It's just not at all good to us who actually liked playing her.
And you won't find any sympathy from me, as moving away from the way she is now is only a positive thing in my book and i firmly stand by that regardless of how many Skull Merchant mains downvotes me.

That rework is not going to end well imo. Indoor maps would be hell on earth for her.
Rather than fast rework, I would prefer good rework…
Don't be unpleasant. I firmly stand that these changes remove several core assets to what brought players to play her and not Huntress, Nurse or Blight. people Who ACTUALLY enjoy the character and style, and don't just wish for player downfall.
Rather than "anything but current", you should try to think about what new changes would create…
Contrarian as always, regardless BHVR should NEVER rush into an idea without consulting the feedback, even old and new.
Hate her and Love her, the Skull Merchant currently will hold steady until this process is over, rushing would always be a mistake.
It just does not make good sense to rush something out, BHVR should seep and dwell on all this new feedback for as long as needed.

Her proposed changes already contains changes i want to see for her, such as the controllable drones that damages Survivors.
By concept it sounds as Twins. One of least popular killers by both sides.
Or Iri addon Pinhead...

You really like that Survivors get aura reading on top of disabeling a drone? - Which should be reward enough of hacking it - denying the projectile part of her "maybe" future kit?
Not a fan of the rework cause I liked here version before the butchering - still open to those changes.. With a little tuning and hopefully without the aura reading for survivors.
I am sure they had faith in Twins rework as well and we know how that went.
Faint is not really good enough in gaming industry.
Assuming they make disabling drones a harder task, then yes, i would say it would be an appropriate reward.
Although i am also open for giving Survivors other types of payoff from disabling the drones.
It's good enough for me to want to see it tested in-game.
I just don't see why.. There's no such reward for disarming Trappers traps; whiping Hags traps; removing Demos Portal; removing a clone of the Unknown; etc.. Nothing here has a payoff for survivors except for denying the power.
So why here? Because she's the most hated Killer atm they need to give an extra candy?
You don't need to be impudent, "good for you" it's a discussion and you talk like some snobby mean girl in high school.
Drones injuring survivors by way of "Throw into survivor" is just creating yet another projectile based killer akin to Pinhead with the Iri addon and removes her stealthy trap style.
I'm just glad this is a DESIGN CONCEPT that will be tested and may not make it.
