yeah i don't think this new freddy is for me.
Maybe my mmr is very high because of my other killers. But he's so predictable in everything i try to do. Is still a m1 killer at the end of the day. And has such long cooldowns even on his primary slowdown. (not to mention he has old doctor in the fact you have to swap between forms) maybe other people like him. But god he hurts for me lol. Anyone else having any better attempts?

I think the main problem right now is the clocks are way too strong now that you can go to any clock on the map
Yeah everyone's always awake so my power feels like it's never doing anything. Then if I down them they wake up anyway so I have to move onto the next person. Feels like how old singularity was for me but at least old singularity had some tracking and catch up.
What i can tell from my few matches is, if they don't use the clocks he is incredibly oppressive and getting 4ks is easy. If they coordinate and use all the clocks on the maps he is literally just an M1 killer again. Basically the problem is he is gonna be a noob stomper but then fall apart against good survivors
I'm mostly sad they removed the insidious dream pallets. They were good against both ends of survivors. Because outside of a 4man you don't know what all pallets have been used. Now noone goes in the pallets range because they know. Which makes the power mostly useless especially with the clocks.
Oh yeah i didn't even bring up the new dream pallets because they are basically unusable lol
Yet he will become enemy #1 until bhvr nerfs him again. Just like every other time they tried to change him.
I have literally not even been affected by any of the new stuff going against him.
He feels pretty good to me personally. I think the dream snare cooldown is where it should be, i found 5 seconds to be too much to deal with on the PTB. Dream pallets feel a little clunky to use, but i don't think they're bad. Dream projection is amazing. Also, he has amazing perk synergy.
Alarm clocks can feel a bit overbearing and it makes the iri paint brush feel unviable unfortunately. The alarm clocks are why i find nancy's sketch to be a really good add-on. Otherwise, i am generally avoiding survivors that have immunity and focusing on who is vulnerable. I feel like survivors need alarm clocks for the gameplay against him to be engaging though and for things like the healing teleport to be balanced.
Singularity works like that now, and is easily the most frustrating killer to play. You spend all this time setting up and using your power on them, and then they just brush it off and you have to redo it. How is one supposed to get downs, defend gens, or have any kind of pressure through all that?
If he's just a noob stomper then how's he oppressive? That don't make no sense.
He's oppressive against the survivors that dont use the clocks correctly, ie noobs
Every killer is oppressive against survivors that don't use appropriate counter play.
i am killing survivors with him and i don't find much problem with clocks mainly because you put survivors to sleep with your m1. it reminds me of Oni where you need hit someone to get your ability but the ability is overall weak. you get little value from snares, little value from pallets and when entire team uses clocks, your healing teleport does not work. you cannot force anyone to be asleep as everyone wakes up on down.
he feels alot better to play and I like him. hes fun. ive been having success with him even against good teams.
of course, I went against a comp team last night and got obliterated but I was expecting that. hes still a m1 killer at the end of the day and his inability to win against those teams doesn't make him bad. the only killers that stand a chance against those teams is blight and nurse anyways.
I don't think he should suffer a full cooldown from faking his teleport though. That's harsh. His dream pallets are also still mostly useless because the range and detonation time is bad.
