I wonder how it is possible in the code to mess this up
Something went a bit wrong in the texture loading/refreshing or whatever, so there's placeholders there.
This isn't a big deal and is in no way anything inconceivable to 'mess up'.
I had this happen one time and this was when a survivor leaves the lobby the very instant the game was going in to loading screen.
The first time that happened to me, I thought there was a cheater in the lobby so I left xD
I once had Tiffany showing as 'Thalita' lol it was a good 6 months ago so I think small bugs like this just happen
The dude got in the lobby, called u stupid lory and left lol

It's DBD, I'd honestly be shocked and disturbed if we didn't have bugs. You'd KNOW something is wrong in the world then.
