Do you think the young adult dystopian genre would make a good chapter?
I was thinking about this the other day about different types of horror that could fit in the game. Hunger Games as a dystopian type came to mind. I do think a survivor mid chapter with an interactive map would be really amazing… you have things like the giver, the maze runner and divergent etc that were massive in the ‘10s.
is this type of genre one that would fit into DBD? What are your thoughts?

Hunger games survivor skins would REALLY nail down the idea that you're fellow survivors are more dangerous than the killer.
Not really, those stories don't really have a central antagonist, when it comes to the game or set up itself everyone involved is both a survivor and killer simultaneously. Its kind of like a battle royal chapter who would the killer be given that everyone is a potential killer.
Can't speak so much for the maze runner here as I don't know anything about it.
I guess I should have specified like a mid-chapter (survivor). Similar to what we had this round solo chapter killer(Chucky) and now a survivor mid -chapter
hmm well I guess almost anything can be a survivor skin really. So why not, they are a group of people thrust into the kind of deadly game that the entity might enjoy.
I mean attack on titan sits in the same boat, not like you could base a chapter on it who would the killer be one of the giant titans. But there were player skins so yeah from that standpoint totally doable.
