wouldn't it be funny if we get a dbd spiderweb teaser?
imagine if we get a spider killer and a survivor that exterminates bugs but fails to kill the big mommy spider? It gives me the creeps just thinking about a big hairy spider and seeing her 8 big red eyes shining in the dark.

Adding "big mommy spider" to the list of things I didn't expect to read today.
Only if the Survivor is "Delbert McClintock" played by John Goodman from the 1990 gem, "Arachnophobia"
okay but you need to understand this story takes place in england where the biggest spider we have is a cardinal spider at not a damn huntsman
I would buy him in an instant.
they really had to make a news article tho? Their venom isn't going to kill you.
How would a big spider work anyway?
Maybe a half spider half woman like Kumoko? Give her a Scythe to swing.
Man, I wish the anime did her justice. It was just so low quality.
Yeah, but it followed the LNs so can't really complain. I feel like most people just didn't like the fact that it covered so many differ POVs. Either way though... Scary Kumoko in DBD would be cool.
Honestly, with the experimentation of Killer varieties recently in terms of size, shape and movement, I wouldn't be surprised of an arachnid Killer isn't already in the works!
If I was BHVR, I'd release something like that on an anniversary show. That would be a heck of a way to kick off the new year. Maybe the Killer before that will again be a non-human Killer, but it would maintain a relative humanoid appearance.
Whatever may be, I reckon a non-humanoid Killer is way more likely than it used to be.
We're dramatic what can I say
It wouldn't.
Just by size and length of the legs alone, a big spider with massive legs wouldn't be able to fit through door frames or crawl through windows.
Could make it the size of Xeno. Maybe make it made of a bunch of little spiders that scurry over separately for the window vault animation.
As someone who has been bit by a black widow and brown recluse, I'd uninstall lol.
I haven't noticed it until you said it.
I can't see them ever adding a full-on spider killer due to how many people are terrified of them, but a Drider-like killer maybe could work.
