  I think this is one way to do it:

  1. Killer brings a Hex perk.
  2. Survivor blesses the Hex totem using a Boon perk.
  3. Killer snuffs the Boon totem.

  That, or when Ruin or Plaything deactivate on death (if you die with Plaything on you, your specific totem is extinguished since it no longer does anything).

  Also when Haunted is cleansed and the second totem turns into a dull, or when the Face the Darkness survivor is healed or downed.

  Face the Darkness also has a deactivation condition, right? If someone goes into the dying state?

  I would love a rework of totem placements. Make them harder to find. Survivors have several good perks to help find them. They should never be right next to a gen or in the middle of the open map.

  I mean, Totem went from Hex to Dull straight away

  what exactly are you asking, is this a request/suggestion or a question? do you want to be able to turn your hex totems into dulls on demand as killer, or change its location with another dull totem?
