I got two hooks at the start against survivors who didn't use any invitation abilities.
The 3rd survivor I found and chased used stupid hacks time after time after time and was never hooked.
Oh not literally cheating you mean the Anniversary Invitations.
Even if they meant the Anniversary Invitations, still not makes sense tho.
It favors killers more. Insta pallet break and expose are pretty strong effects to use.

Good survivors can use the pallet spawn to pretty nasty effects though. Also the pallet break isn't instant, it takes a short bit of time and is telegraphed so the survivor can act.
Hate to be the one to say it but "skill issue". That said the reason you're probably running into a higher average skill level because veteran players that dont play as often are more likely to come back during events as well as people trying a little harder during event. I've been a firm believer that events are the worst times to play the game honestly

Honestly, I've thought my matches have been really easy today.
Easier than normal and I kinda feel bad, makes me not want to play.
