Snares don't do enough, in my personal opinion. If you are skilled enough to drop one mid chase you might like them better. However the pallets are great, survivors get real sloppy at pallets because they feel safe.
Snares hands down, no comparison. With fake pallets...youll get hits at fake pallets. With snares, youll get hits at REAL pallets. All "infinites" in the game, like the ironworks window, immediately dies.
Snares, they are just more useful in all ways, and Dream Pallets can be completely useless on maps like Rotten Fields, plus pallets take an addon slot, which could be used for a much better item like Paint Brush or Rusty Chains.
