"Jeepers Creepers"
Pretty sure they aren't touching it.
Yea probably right, but it would've been cool if they did.
Not_queen already said on a post before that this is not a license they are looking into, and I'm glad for that
They wont reward a pedophile with money so no it wont ever happen.
As stated already, Victor is a convicted pedo and I would refuse to give a single penny towards anything with him attached to it.
Yeah its been stated already, but yeah, the holder of the rights is a ######### monster, and was a convicted pedophile BEFORE jeepers creepers. The fact that he was allowed to work with kids in those movies is sick.
The thoughts are it wont happen because the creator/license holder is a convicted pedophile.
So they wont work with him, regardless of how good the IP may be.
Not a fan of the IP but did saw a video saying a reboot is in the works that has nothing to do with the creator and he won't be seeing a cent from it. Could be that one they use so there's a slim chance but very slim.
Could work even though Victor is no longer in charge of the new movie your still supporting a character that was made by a Pedophile even though he’s not connected but I really want him in the game this might give him a chance
Sorry but I personally don't care, the series is tainted for me(never liked it even before I knew all about Victor) and I'll never support it.
Not_Queen has confirmed they won't be touching this license. The mods here have started closing these posts because BHVR reps have said it won't happen and all these posts turn into people saying no because creator is a pedo and others trying to defend real life pedophilia by comparing it to fake movie characters.
not like Jeepers has wears a hat that says "Age Is Just A Number"
We don’t want anything in the game associated with a real life paedophile
As long as Victor Salvo gets no money from it im fine
Apparently, SUPPOSEDLY, he has no rights to the new one coming out. So if bhvr based it on that movie he should get nothing from it. Supposedly
Except the public scrutiny that would come of it though. Even if he didn’t get a dime, many wouldn’t know that, or probably care either. They’d just be angry.
I hear you. If I were bhvr i wouldnt touch it with a 10 foot pole. To many other licenses and original works to draw from to worry about that mess
unless BHVR tweets out "Thanks for bringing us Jeepers Vic, sorry you got caught slackin" i think its fine.
ngl when people said they wanted the creeper in dbd at first I wasn't aware of the movie series so I thought they were talking about the minecraft mob and I was like "wait what"
I think you underestimate the biting hot ember of hatred that Paedophilia leaves in the public’s heart.
BHVR could add a Jeepers Creepers chapter with loads of massive disclaimers, and make it clear Vic isn’t profiting from it. But many would not see reason or logic, and the boycotting would be swift and brutal.
It’s just a risky move that could have dire financial consequences to BHVR.
That a remake/reboot movie is even being made at all is a risky financial investment.
yeah even mentioning victor salva seems to cause creatures to stir
Never gonna happen.
i guess i'm just built different.
I'd license it just to spite those who would be against it.

Creepers will always be associated with victor even if not financially or with copyright, just cause hes not involved with it directly , people will always think of him while thinking of jeepers
