Thinking of quitting

To begin with: I absolutely adore this game, but it's getting messed up. I can't play this game without getting angry any more.
Especcialy because of the fricking hitboxes, I get downed so many times WITHOUT GETTING HIT. Like, what the frick.
Facecamp, just another no skill requiring thing that STILL WORKS. Tunneling, it's just part of the game, I don't mind it.
######### up totem spots. IT IS NOT HARD TO HIDE THEM.
Broken perks such as sprint burst, self care and that sort of bullshit.
It doesn't matter if you're playing either killer or survivor, there is always something that WILL piss you off.
I love this game, but I'm not sure if I will be playing this game if this bullshit conitunues.
If you have some advise to get mad less easily, please react.

    Face-camping is an act on its own. You're using the skill used in a chase and trying to apply it to camping, which doesn't work if we're talking just about camping. Now, I don't get mad at killers for camping when they have their reasons, but I'm not going to act like standing there and doing nothing takes skill. Face camping isn't the same as the chase itself so it doesn't make sense to merge the two. Sure, the chase might've taken skill, but camping doesn't.

What’s skillful about it? Is there a particular skill you must harness besides not being a blind potato?



Well, to facecamp, the following had to happen:

    * The Killer had to find a Survivor (meaning they were better at finding a Survivor than the Survivor was at hiding from a Killer).

    • The Killer had to chase a Survivor long enough to hit them twice (meaning the Killer was better at chasing a Survivor than the Survivor was at losing a Killer).

    • (Bonus; does not always happen) The Killer had to deal with body blockers on the way to the hook (meaning the Killer was better at hooking a Survivor than the other Survivors were at body blocking).

      So you tell me, why you wrongly believe facecamping takes no skill. Seems to me the Killer had to outplay the Survivor he hooked every step of the way.

      No what you described is catching the survivor and hooking them. That is not face camping. The act of face camping takes 0 skill, now that doesn’t mean the killer has no skill but let’s not lie and say the act of face camping takes skill

      The Killer played better than the Survivor. Why should the Survivor be excused from the consequences of their failure?

      This has nothing to do with who played better or whatever. I was saying the act of face camping takes no skill which it doesn’t, I never said anything about excusing survivors or anything of the sort. I never even called face camping bad or complained about it. Hey if the killer wants to do that, that’s their choice and they’ll most likely lose because of it

    I disagree. It has everything to do with who played better. You want Survivors to have free rescues even though the Killer played better than them. Camping is not possible unless the Survivor failed at their job - surviving. Why should the Survivor be allowed to get off the hook?

    Bevause the game is designed for them to also get caught. It’s very well okay for them to die on that first hook, and the killer will likely lose if others exploit the bad choice. It seems you want to face camp AND win even if they exploit your strategy. That’s ludicrous

    I want Survivors to take responsibility for their failures and stop blaming Killers for their deaths. When I get camped, I don't complain about it. I realize that the Killer outplayed me and try to learn from the experience.

    And I immediately pull out my phone, and use the PlayStation app to tell the other randoms the killer is camping and to gen rush

    Well then i'll just tunnel you till you die then. You Wanna play that way? Then i the killer have every right to camp you and whack you like a pinata till your sacrificed. Even if survivor comes to get you your going back on that hook. The other survivors will waste their precious time trying to save you which makes good bait for overly Altruistic survivors.

    I think you missed the point? It’s simply so they gen rush, just to make solo closer to swf. Sorry that’s bothering you. If someone goes all in on me, ill do the same!

    And in that situation, that’s EXACTLY what I’d want you to do. Because if you do, you’ll lose.

    It's OK to stop for a while or move on completely. Games aren't played forever. If that were the case I would never have moved on to this one from my last favorite. The good thing about this game is that it's continually getting updates.. for better or worse changes are happening. Come back in 6 months and see if the game is OK for you then.

    Everything you just said to justify facecamping being skillful is kind of bs. None of that requires much skill you just need to be an average player of this game. The lowest ranked killers can do all of that. The only skill you need to kills with facecamping or camping in general is outsmarting the survivors trying to save the hooked one. If they don't try to save and the hooked survivor sits there long enough you get 1-2 kills at best. If they're good survivors they'll save regardless of your face camping.

    Yes, tunnel that one survivor and let the others gen rush. Give the survivors an easy win because you loss sight of the game.

    I am a killer main. I know the worse thing to do is hard camp. So the rare times I play survivor, I do my best to get the killer to tunnel and hard camp me so my team can win. I will get the killer to tunnel me for 3 to 4 gens. Hell, I had one game where I had the killer tunnel me for all gens, exits and 3 hook sabs, and I still escaped. So please, let that anger flow through you and tunnel and hard camp. Let the survivors win. You will get that one kill at least.

    That's also true. Imagine if you hook one and you chase another survivor away from the hook another survivor has to come and take him down and heal him and that takes time off the generator. You take the other survivor down and put him on a hook and start over that costs time on their part. If you get a SWF with BNP not much you can really do not even camping will help you on that side. FYI I don't usually use BNP but when i do they blow up in 2 secs xD.
