It will work just like the description says if so. They said old Legion features, in other words Frenzy hits on already Deep Wounded Survivors, will be possible with add-ons. Looks like mixtapes will be those.
That mean I need 2 addons for the old Legion?

Actually, we dont know how Stab Wounds Study has been changed, so we might not even get to replicate it again. In any case, the new Frank's Mixtape is percentage based, meaning even if you shorten the Deep Wounds time, it will still take 4 hits (plus the first one) to down the Survivor.
What they should have done is completely rework Frank's Mix Tape into something else and making the 5-hit downs still part of their base power.
they said you would be able to bring down the timer with add ons.
you just cant do it with the basic ability anymore.
It looks like playing legion would be a nightmare is they do those changes. Better they work some balance there, like 2 hits only required to down someone, compensating for having to get an addon to do that an waiting for the power to be fully charged, or it will be another killer going to the trash bin.
to be fair here: legion (pre nerf) is trash already.
they just changed them so its more fun to face them in an actual trial now.
they didnt nerf legion because they were strong (they were - and are - in a serious need for buffs), but because it was litterally zero fun to face them and survivors would just immediately quit once they realize they were facing a legion, which would completely ruin the game for those who didnt quit.
legion was unfun and they changed those aspects (the chase design). i do actually hope we see a full on power rework for them, but i doubt that will ever happen.
I'm just gonna guess they're gonna change the Fuming mixtape into that.

You best hang onto them in case the new changes to the addons are good. The PTB is next week so, no reason to just dump them. Yet.
My question is if Frank's Mix Tape was the thing people hated most... Why on earth would they keep it the same effect with lowered numbers?

Not knowledgeable on legion addons but a reduced timer will barely affect survivors after then rework unless the legion is running insidious or M&A( for this they need to stop chasing tho).
With an enlarged terror radius it will take quite some time before the timer even starts ticking down even after losing the killer. Good survivors will already be mending by the time the timer starts ticking.
They should just replace Legion's knife with a rubber chicken, bringing then closer to the devs' true vision.
