Could Vigo be a survivor?
Vigo is an unseen character is in Dead by Daylight. He was an Inventor and a Researcher and studied the Entity. He also created new contraptions from The Fog, both mechanical and magical.
What if this was incorporated into dead by daylight. I have a few ideas for perks that Vigo could use.
- Vigo could manipulate (experiment) the entity by blocking pallets and windows. The ultimate double edged sword.
- Incorporating Putrid Serum as an item that a survivor can use by collecting Pustula Petals. Maybe there could be multiple effects, some bad. A little like Dramaturgy but more insane.
- Adding a crazy new magic from items that could effect things that are "mechanical". Such as Generators, Hooks and the Hatch.
Another thing to mention is that Vigo could be an inspiration from a guy called Giovanni da Vigo who is a Italian Surgeon. His greatest achievement was his historical nine-book surgical text that became the leading medical reference of the 16th century. Could be an idea for a very complicated perk.
By reading Tome 5 / 2 - Vigo. It says " Its pages are filled with notes on an ancient force that controls the nature of this place that shapes it". Sounds like the entity.
One last thing, by reading the description of Vigo's Blueprint, Vigo's Jar of Salty Lips and Vigo's Shroud. It seems like Vigo can manipulate The Entity. By changing Hatch locations, Manipulative Luck and Change where survivors spawn. Once again another idea for perks. Though I think the ones listed are pretty cool.

I remember before The Blight came out there was speculation that it could have been him but obviously we all know now he isn't Vigo.
I'm not against perks with more unique effects
I think that Vigo managed to completely escape being dragged into trials. He may be hiding or barricaded in a place that prevents the entity from dragging him into trials, so the idea that he is a survivor is a weak possibility, because if he becomes a survivor, it means that he has failed in what he was striving for.
Well he could be a survivor as if I am not wrong different variations of same survivor are in the entitys realm and participating in the trails. Like the lore ones are so to say "main" character but there is variations of the same character in the trails. Like that would be the explanation of why there can be four same characters in one trial as all four of them are variations from different realities or timelines. This is the main way I even explain why Mikaela does not seem to know Sable as the "main" Mikaela is not Sable's Mikaela but that one is also in the trials. Like the main Vigo might have escaped but how do we know if there is a variation of him still in the trials or that entity could get one of is variations from some other timeline. Of course we could also go the route that Vigo is an unique being in the multiverse that has no variations a thing that might have drawn the Entity to take him originally but clearly she bit more than she could chew with Vigo.
