The Judgement (Lore discussion)
Anyone caught the fact Judgement was probably allowed to be taken by the entity bc she committed a sin of pride ? She was sent by higher deity to punish or judge mortals who had began to reach a level of power and tech similar to Gods. But then Judgement in her lore seems to eventually be worshipped by a cult which then she starts to act like she is a god herself. Like when you hit someone sometimes she will say "I AM A GOD" when in reality…no she isn't she's basically a Principality or Seraphim so an angel not a god.
Maybe that's why in the end the gods sided with Aurora and made her a beacon of hope for her people. (It's not confirmed but imo the gods started to turn away from Judgement as it grew more and more aggressive and zealous which is why Aurora was spared and you see her glowing bc similar to the movie Constantine, I think the gods stopped supporting Judgement)

Wrong subforum so this may get moved to the Lore section, but this is a really interesting take! I think there's a lot of truth in there to pull from and since the lore is structured around Biblical verses from different books, religions, and chapters and verses, it makes this really neat patchwork quilt of lore that is unlike anything we've had in DBD.
I especially love that Aurora, despite being a truly good and righteous person who led her people and the repentant Arbiters to safety and prosperity, ultimately leaves her people behind due to the Exile and after the Entity yoinks both her and the Judgment, her people turn into absolute puritanical monsters.
It reminded me of the way Fremen react in Dune after Paul Atreides becomes Emperor of the universe. They turn into fanatical, genocidal legions that kill in his family's name, despite his "good" intentions.
