Dead by Daylight: Fate of Albion Fable III Chapter Concept
Hey everyone! I’m a huge fan of Fable 3 and always thought Nightcrawler (The Crawler) would make a good psychological horror Killer in Dead by Daylight to help bring back the horror aspect. I designed this full concept kit for a 'Fate of Albion' Chapter, featuring a dual-model Survivor (The Hero of Brightwall) and a Bowerstone Market map. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the perk balance and the Shadow Children minion mechanics (Ik Nemesis zombies were already frustrating). There's alot here cause I wanted to be thorough and not leave anything out. If you have ideas for Killer Cosmetics for Nightcrawler (The Crawler) let me know!

NEW KILLER: THE CRAWLER
An ancient, formless entity born from the absolute void beneath the sands of Aurora, The Crawler is a master of psychological corruption. After plunging the kingdom of Albion into a night of eternal terror, it has been pulled into the Fog to harvest a new realm of prey.
• Movement Speed: 4.6 m/s (115%)
• Terror Radius: 32 meters
• Height: Tall (Hovering)
• Difficulty: Intermediate
Weapon: Corrupted Shadow
• Basic Attack (Void Slash):The Crawler slashes outward with a localized burst of darkness.
• Special Attack (Tendril Strike): Hold the Secondary Power Button to charge a forward-facing linear strike using your razor-sharp chest tendril. Release the button to lash outward. This attack can strike Survivors over low obstacles, windows, and dropped pallets.
Primary Power: Shrouded Descent
The Crawler brings the ink-like darkness of Albion to the Entity's Realm, trapping Survivors in a web of sensory deprivation.
• Pools of Shadow: Press the Power Button to place up to 5 large pools of liquid shadow on the floor.
• Shadow Travel: Stand on an existing pool and press the Active Ability Button to sink into the floor and rapidly teleport to any other active pool across the map.
• Shadow Children: Each placed pool automatically summons 2 AI-controlled Shadow Children that patrol a 20-meter radius around their home pool. If they spot a Survivor, they shriek—revealing the Survivor's location via Killer Instinct—and chase them to inflict the Hindered status.
• The Darkness Curse: Survivors walking through a pool or attacked by a Shadow Child build a Darkness gauge. At maximum Darkness, a Survivor's screen turns pitch black around the edges, and they see phantom Crawler illusions charging at them.

• Page of the Grimoire: Shadow Children can now destroy dropped pallets in their path by channeling a 2-second interaction. Doing so destroys that specific Child for 15 seconds.
• Bowerstone Blackout: When teleporting via Shadow Travel, you trigger no global audio cue, and your Terror Radius is suppressed for 6 seconds after emerging.
• Sharp Onyx: Tendril Strike breaks dropped pallets and breakable walls, but increases the cooldown of a successful strike by 10%.
• Spiteful Echo: While a Survivor is at maximum Darkness, they suffer from the Blindness status effect, preventing them from seeing player auras.
Very Rare (Purple)
• The Hero’s Seal: When a Survivor reaches maximum Darkness, their location is revealed via Killer Instinct for 4 seconds.
• Aurora’s Tears: Replaces the 2 Shadow Children per pool with 1 larger, faster Shadow Sentinel. Sentinels can injure healthy Survivors but do not apply the Hindered status effect.

• Iridescent Guild Seal: Your Chest Tendril is permanently extended. Replaces Tendril Strike with a passive, longer-reaching basic attack. Increases the cooldown of all missed attacks by 15%.
• Heart of Albion: When you use Shadow Travel to teleport to a pool, all Survivors currently standing within a 20-meter radius of any active Shadow Pool are instantly injured by 1 health state.

Memento Mori: Total Possession
The Crawler stands over the dying Survivor as a pool of pure liquid shadow bubbles up directly underneath them. The Survivor's body is suddenly hoisted slightly into the air—limbs locked straight out, head tilted back, and mouth agape in a silent scream. The Crawler plunges forward, completely phasing into the Survivor's body. For a horrific moment, thick liquid shadow begins pouring out of the Survivor's eyes like black tears. The Crawler then phases back out of the body, leaving behind a cold mist. The possession breaks, and the Survivor drops heavily to the ground, permanently blind and dead.
