Killer Suggestions Lucius Wagner

After some time, I write my idea about this killer now here too to see, how people think about it. 😎

Some people sadly never heard about the Lucius Games, made by Shiver Games.
The first game was played by big YouTubers like PewDiePie or the German YouTuber Gronkh.

The first game is also the best and most loved. The second was sadly not as good as the first, and the third not as good as it could be. However, that doesn't stop me from loving the games and getting the idea I'm writing about here.

In the games you play as the young boy Lucius Wagner, the son of the Devil himself. The first game is about Lucius "taking care of" his biological family and the household. The second starts the main story, and the third is the finale.

The idea of Lucius as a DbD killer is, of course, something risky. Having an 8-9 year old boy, chasing the surf to hook them. Could make problems. For that would be, of course, the possibility to make him older.

I've already worked on the idea for some time now, I think a year or more, and worked out ideas for perks and some add-ons. Also, Lucius would come with 2 new maps in the game and some custom outfits.

But one thing at a time. First, the basic Information about Lucius Wagner as a Killer in DbD.

Lucius – Dead by Daylight Fan Concept

Name: Lucius Wagner

Title: The Devil's Boy

Maps: Dante Manor, Ludlow Town

Perks

Perk 1: Heat of Hell

Hex. 2/3/4 random Generators are affected by the "Overheat" hex.

Survivors must first "cool down" the generator before they can repair it. If a Survivor cleanses the Hex Totem, they are inflicted with the "Incineration" status effect, making them visible to the Killer for ... seconds. At Level 3, all Survivors are inflicted with "Incineration" for ... seconds.

Perk 2: Pact with the Crows

2/4/6 Devil's Crows are spawned across the map. If a Survivor disturbs one of these crows, it will follow the Survivor for ... seconds, send a notification to the Killer, and reveal the Survivor's aura. Survivors can attempt to shoo the crow away. A disturbed crow respawns on the map after ... seconds.

(Alternative detail: Disturbed crows fly after the Survivor for ... seconds, revealing their position to the Killer.)

Perk 3: Lord's Demand

Lucifer demands his share. 2/4/6 Hooks are replaced by Altars of the Devil. Instead of the Entity, Lucifer's hands appear here. When a Survivor is hooked on an Altar, a ritual begins. The hooked Survivor can slow down the ritual by hitting Skill Checks, while other Survivors must succeed on a Skill Check to unhook them. If the Killer successfully sacrifices a Survivor on the Altar, they receive bonus Bloodpoints. If the Survivors manage to rescue their teammate, the Altar becomes broken. A used/broken Altar is replaced by a standard Entity Hook after a short time. If the Killer stays within ... meters of the Altar during the ritual, the ritual is cancelled and the Survivor is set free.

(Alternative concept: Lucifer demands his share. 2 Hooks are replaced by Altars of the Devil. Instead of the Entity, a Hellmouth opens at the altars. If the Killer successfully sacrifices a Survivor on one of these Altars, they receive bonus Bloodpoints and a random generator is additionally affected by the "Overheat" hex, provided generators are still remaining.)

Lucius's Power: Demonfire

The Son of the Devil concentrates the fire of Hell in his hands. Lucius hurls powerful fireballs at Survivors, which grow stronger as he charges them:

  • Normal Fireball: Puts a Survivor into the Injured State.
  • Half-Charged Fireball: Injures the Survivor and inflicts the "Brand" effect, which prevents the Survivor from healing themselves unless they use a Med-Kit. The effect disappears after a successful heal.
  • Fully Charged Fireball: Puts the Survivor directly into the Dying State.

Secondary Power: Crow's Heart

Lucius can kill crows and collect their hearts. This allows him to transform into a crow and quickly traverse the map. In his crow form, Lucius cannot attack. After use, the ability requires a cooldown of ... seconds. Lucius can only carry one heart at a time.

Add-ons

Isaac's Flames (Iridescent / Ultra Rare)

Stolen from his slain half-brother, Lucius fully harnesses the power of his demonfire. A fully charged fireball locks onto and chases a targeted Survivor, putting them into the Dying State upon impact.

Crow Fire (Iridescent / Ultra Rare)

When Lucius transforms back from a crow, he releases an explosion of demonfire that puts nearby Survivors into the Injured State.

Also with Lucius, his biological father would come as a new survivor with this 3 Perks:

Name: Charles Wagner

Perks

Perk 1: Political Leadership

You were born to lead in politics and know how to guide those around you.

Equipping this perk marks you as the Leader for both other players and the Killer. Your aura is continuously revealed to other Survivors, but not to the Killer.

This perk activates as long as you are near at hand with at least 2 other Survivors. When Survivors join an action initiated by you (repairing a generator, healing a Survivor), the action speed for every joining Survivor is increased by ...%.

If at least two other Survivors follow your lead, all affected Survivors gain the Haste status effect as long as they stay within ... meters of each other. If Survivors split up and move away from you, Political Leadership deactivates. The perk has a cooldown of ... seconds.

Perk 2: Campaign Strategy

You know how to approach situation strategically.

At the start of the trial, this perk activates and reveals the auras of 4 random props (Generators, Chests, Totems) to all Survivors for ... seconds. For each of these revealed objects interacted with by Survivors, Campaign Strategy gains 1 Token (up to a maximum of 4 Tokens). Once the Exit Gates are powered, all Survivors gain the Haste status effect for ... seconds per Token.

Perk 3: Family Curse

You carry a heavy burden that you simply cannot shake off.

Whenever you perform an action (repairing, healing, rummaging through chests), your location is revealed to the Killer after ... seconds. If you successfully complete the action before the Killer reaches you, you gain 1 Token (up to a maximum of 4 Tokens). Once the Exit Gates are powered, you gain the Endurance status effect for ... seconds per Token.

Here a list of other add-ons Lucius would have. Of course fitting to things from the games, items.

(Effects were not my idea but Google Gemini's. I used the AI to translate the text. It write the effects itself.

Lore: How Lucius Entered the Fog

I also have a concept for how Lucius ended up in the Fog:

The Entity sought to draw upon the power of Hell and invaded Lucifer's realm. However, this time things did not go well for the Entity—it encountered an adversary it was simply no match for. Yet, the Entity could not resist the immense dark power of Hell.

Lucifer noticed this intrusion and struck a deal with the Entity: He would hand over his son, Lucius, to serve as a Killer in the Entity's trials. In return, the Entity must grant Lucifer direct access to the Fog, allowing him to claim his own share of the Survivors. This access is established through one of Lucius's three unique perks.

Lucifer, of course, made it explicitly clear what would happen should the Entity break the deal or harm Lucius. To fit seamlessly into Lucius's story, these events would take place either between the second and third games or during the events of the third game.

Last but not least. Here is a collage with pictures. Alternative outfits for Lucius, his mori and to the right an AI picture that showed how a older Lucius could look like.
The outfits are from Lucius 2 (the straitjacket) and the others from Lucius 3. The way he killed the pries in Lucius 3 inspired me for his Mori. He forces the surv on his knee, put his hands on the side of their head and, well, burn it to ashes. Also you can see the trident, used by Lucifer himself. Lucius would not only use his fireballs, but also a trident to hurt the survivors.

Lucius Collage.jpg

So much for that. I already wrote the developers mail with that idea. In the last, I got told that I could post the idea also here. So I do it. I hope the idea finds its way to the developers, and they work with Shiver Games, the developers of the Lucius games, to make this idea real.
I think it has potential. Also with some, funny ideas how it can then come to encounter Lucius and other killers. He sure would love to play with Chucky and continue the torture William Afton (Springtrap) had while he was in hell, before he got into the fog. In Lucius 3, the Devil Boy used to write a journal. I like the idea that he continues doing that in the fog and he writes something about every killer survivor. What he thinks about them.

So much from my side. I would love, of course, to hear other thoughts about that idea.
Greetings from Rickodo and every DbD player. Have fun and luck in the fog.
