Event Cakes - different rarity in this anniversary? Why?
Players from all over the world are disappointed with the low amount of event cakes. The reason is that the rarity of this type of offering was raised from "common" to "very rare". Why is that? Anniversary events are famous in the DBD community for their bloodpoint offerings, but now that "main reason to play" is gone. Is there any valid reason why the rarity of the offering was increased?

They did this last year actually. They were Visceral rarity (Ultra Rare) at 8k which made4 them even more sparse than they are now especially when bulk spending. It was changed halfway through the event due to outrage.
As for the reason, they outright said it was because they don't think we should still have cakes in 5 years. They want the cakes to be be for the event but not for us to have hundreds or thousands left.
my friends always stop playing the game after using all cakes. last year it was around september if they let it be how it is now i can play solo in july again
If we want to earn thousands thats what we should be able to do. I still have so many wasted offerings I can never use again, but you know what I can always use when I hop on to run some killer? A cake. Can't use red envelopes, red eyeballs, and so many other event offerings. Who are they to change things up when it's been the same for the last 9.9 years?

Yeah BHVR, well I don't want my inventory cluttered up with hundreds/thousands of useless, antiquated items and offerings that have accumulated over the years (and continue to accumulate) that I'll never have any occasion or desire to use, but here we are lol
