Deep wound should still regress whilst running but at lower amount (ie 25% as quickly) - this would help to decentivise survivors abusing protection hits when off-hook. Furthermore, the base deep-wound healing time should be increased by 1 - 2 seconds (but thats an afterthought)

    Could work if the killer wouldn't just start chasing them and wait for the deep wound to hit zero. Even if its stopped in chase killers can force chases to not proc or end them early. Very abusable.

    Thats kinda release legion with less steps. So we know that it would be awful gameplay.

    For new people: legion would moonwalk to avoid chase and the timer would tick down. Really boring.
