Weakened status on The Unknown

Hello! I have a suggestion about the weakened state of unknown. When you're actively in a chase and you get to weaken the survivor, after you charge your next uvx they come on to you and start circling around you like crazy. That doesnt sound like a problem to some people but, if you try to hit your UVX, the projectile will bounce off them and miss. But if you cancel and hit the survivor with an M1 attack, they will just get rid of the weakened state before you even get a chance to charge your UVX. | Heres comes my Suggestion, damage with UVX renews the survivors weakened state timer by 8 seconds. Also, M1 attack should renew the weakened states timer too! it wont be an 8 second renew but it will be 4-5 seconds. That would encourage people to play unknown and make that missing is less punishing for the unknown. I got opinions of many streamers about this idea and theyre interested about it.

  • I have about a hundred hours with unknown and this just removes a lot of the balance of his chase. I mean once you hit your first shot you should be able to get an injury after that, not a two tap.

  • That specific injury youre talking about only happens when a survivor fails to dodge and essentially gives away the hit for free. Good survivors understand how UVX works, so while they might take the M1, they usually avoid becoming Weakened in the first place. I'm also not sure which two-tap scenarios you're referring to. Every Unknown two-tap requires the survivor to either misplay or fail to remove Weakened when given the opportunity. This change simply makes M1s refresh the Weakened timer by only 4 seconds. In other words, basic attacks become less punishing than they currently are. As for long-range UVX downs, if a survivor gets hit by a slow-moving projectile while fully aware that it's coming, that's generally a mistake on their part. UVX isn't Huntress hatchets or Deathslinger shots. It has travel time, is highly reactable, and can be dodged with proper movement and positioning. ๐Ÿ˜Š
