Jason's power

It's crazy how jason is undetectable FOREVER with his power, meanwhile spirit is nerfed with crazy direction cue.

  • I think its because there is visible Qs. You can see his shadow in his power his counter is just pay attention and block line of sight to provent being speared. When he is in his mode there is a visible indicator of when he is in it.

Spirit has Hearing Qs because shes all about hearing instead of looking. Jason and Spirit have a similar power but one is countered differently.

  • He's not really "Undetectable" similar to springtrap keep your eyes on doors. In this case, nearby pallets or vaults. He can only spawn in either one of those.

  • Id compare his undetectable more to xeno. With xeno you sit on a generator and watch the tunnels and know exactly where hes coming from if he comes out of it. But with jason you have to watch any pallets or windows around you which means he can show up from multiple directions. That paired with the fact that he comes out of the power with the speed of a vault or quick break makes him feel like hes ready to attack sooner as well. So theres is allot less room for reaction time for when he pops out compared to xeno. They both kinda detect people the same way while traveling only difference is standing still works against xeno, crouch movement works against jason.

You're right with that, but it should be pointed out that, while (with springtrap) there is usually 1 door, you need to keep an eye on, there is multiple pallets and windows. And in contrast to springtrap he is not even remotely making as much sound. With Jason you have to keep an eye on the ground, if there is fog and, if there is, cycle every vault and window near you. Unless Springtrap is undetectable you'll need to look around as normal with every killer, chances are you will hear him very early and keep on the one door near you, which you'll also hear.

So the comparison in that regard is a little off.

  • jason is intangible and cannot freely re-enter play so a terror radius doesn't make sense, he's picking a static spot to teleport to

  • Comparing a chase power with a map traversal tool doesnt really make sense.

Spirit only having hearing Qs btw is terrible accessibility for us people with hearing conditions

  • Spirit can hit right out of power, jason can't see the difference?
