Are you sure the killer is not using the Turn Back the Clock perk to blow the gen by looking at it.
Nope, and I think it got shadow fixed somehow last patch. Been playing thus far and no issue now.

Okay, tabbing doesn't really remove the skill check temporarily. But SOMETHING is making me pop a gen out of nowhere sometimes, again, like I missed a skill check.

Even if you blast the sound up, the damn chase music blasts 5x louder, along with the other KABOOSH masking the footsteps and breathing, wth happened to the old Spirit? I was able to hear everything so easily few years ago.
Bet a mod is gonna tell me not to resurrect old posts. (DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT THEN, SAY SOMETHING IN HERE or GIVE US UPDATES) -
I just got back to playing my "used to be main" Spirit. Jesus, I can't hear any survivor footsteps and breathing. It's not like the old days.

Have you submitted a Bug report?
Why would I? when there are many unresolved bug reports about it? Just shows how incompetent BHVR is. It's been reported since May 2025, UNDER REVIEW. Patch 8.6.0. And there's NOT EVEN ONE FOLLOW UP ABOUT IT.

So I've had Pinhead since release. There's a hidden Adept Cenobite on Steam. I got merciless killer with him, but didn't get the achievement. What is happening here?
