Balancing that's needed

These are my suggestions to make the game much more balanced and consistent, to avoid extremes where either survivors get totally wrecked, or the killer loses all 5 gens with only a few hooks.

  • Shroud Offerings should be retired. Neither survivor nor killer should have the power to mess with the spawn of survivors. Survivors should consistently always spawn together, furthest from the killer.
  • Killer should always spawn furthest away from survivors. A lot of times the killer spawns in the middle of the map, which can be either really bad for the killer (if the killer happens to check all the wrong gens while a gen pops), or really bad for the survivors (if the killer gets lucky with finding the spawn, and gets injuries/downs fast)
  • All killers' powers that speed up traversal should be on cooldown at the start of the match (for at least 10 seconds). If some killers take time to get to survivors (e.g. Dredge, Pig), and some can zoom over to them (e.g. Blight, Hillbilly), then that creates great inconsistency in matches, and makes it harder to balance the game.
  • Basekit Corrupt Intervention - another thing that would aid killers, especially weaker ones, or those who have to set up their traps at the start of the match, and need help against gens flying from the get-go
  • Endurance off oh hook should go back to 10 seconds. 15 seconds is too much, especially in end-game.
  • Time on hook per hook stage should be reverted from 70 seconds to 60 seconds. That would give killers more pressure, but also help make survivors more alert and not just let teammates rot on hook for ages. Also, being hooked is really, really boring.
  • Unhooked survivor should lose collision with the killer (and maybe also other survivors) for X seconds, or until the survivor is hit, whichever happens first. That way people can't just vigorously bodyblock for their teammates after getting unhooked. If the unhooked survivor happens to be running "merged" with another survivor that's being chased, and the killer attacks, the attack should prioritize the non-unhooked survivor, to remove the efficacy of aggressive bodyblocking.

Thank you for reading!

  • They should honestly implement basekit traversal to all killers so non-mobility and high.mobility killers are not in cosmic power difference.

  • If you want killer to be easier, just say that instead of "balance"

  • Killer is easiest it has ever been.

We just need some small number tweeks of worse killers and perk changes.

  • Nothing is needed. Just explain to people that the longer the match goes, the more experience they'll get, which means they'll earn shards. Maybe it's time to introduce a "play 15 minutes in a single match" quest? I don't know.

  • "Endurance off oh hook should go back to 10 seconds. 15 seconds is too much, especially in end-game." —> This! In endgame. 15 seconds is too much, when a surv can cross the whole map and run out of the gate with no downside. 10 seconds in endgame would be enough.

Also I registered, if the killer goes back to interrupt an unhook, auto-aim nearly always hits the unhooked survivor instead of the unhooker I want to hit, which is really unfortunate, because usually I want to go for the unhooker in that situation, but now I have an easy target to tunnel, instead of wasting time for a longer chase with a healthy survivor.
