New way to play
I hate the idea of changing how a game works entirely, but hear me out. I would love to see a gamemode or even just normal matches where your characters perks are earned throughout the match, the constant nerfing of certain perks bring the game back to a "safe" choice to keep the game maintained. What I have in mind is, based on how well you work as a team, or preform objectives ( maybe add a few base game objectives to boost your points to unlock stronger perks per match) will give you more points to unlocking a perk Now these perks can be given a bigger reward than they already do. certain perks can be put in specific A B C D categories. stronger perks are unlocked last and some "weaker" perks can be unlocked first. Example Dead Hard will be a D perk, a harder to unlock perk, ( given with the assumption the Dead Hard perk can be reverted back a few nerfs when it was fun to use ( and fun to counter as killer )). Making the perrk stronger, but harder to unlock per match could be a more incentive for players to work more as a team. As long as the killer is chasing survivors, damaging gens, breaking walls and such their perks will become stronger as well maybe an additonal mini objective for killers for an opportunity to gain more points. This does seam like it can be complicated, but similar to how 2 v 8 is, this is how i would imagine it.
Bonus: Also a game mode where to entity switches the progress on all generators, completed or not, once every 2 minutes would be fun. or even if a killer before a match can choose 3 killers to play and will randomly be switched out by the entity.
Bonus BONUS: Also an arcade style gamemode where survivors have access to all perks, can choose what ever perks they want, but their perks would be switched out with other surviors, you can be as diabolical as you want or be as helpfull. Limited xp gains and BP gains per match so perks aren't abused
Bonus Bonus Bonus: an april fools gamemode for 1 week or even for 3 days, where somthing as dumb as a giant duck is the "gen" and you have to bring all the ducklings scattered around the map to unlock to gates. Idk somthing fun like that, it doesnt have to be that, but if it is that would be fun.
