Wish we could kill ourselves in dying state
Sometimes I'm tempted to dc because I just want to play next game without the killer prolonging the game for no reason.

A button to bleed out faster would be nice. Many other games have this, You're left on the ground for ages while the killer stays within close proximity. There's nothing you can do, but many killers expect you to sell out the other survivor.
If they fixed the end game hatch situation, sure. Currently it's heavily abused already by people just DC'ing to give the hatch.
Pressing "Recover" when the bar is already full causing what @The_Crusader suggested could be all that's needed.
Edit:

Holding the recovery button without releasing it (x in seconds) will increase your bleed-out rate/multiplier to y.
Releasing recovery sets your multiplier back to 1. (Checks every 0.5 seconds)
You'll be dead in about 25 seconds.
That can be the next survivor perk
When in dying state chose to take cyanide pill
Hold M1 to recover
Hold M2 to bleed out at 2x speed
Solved.
The killer still gets some time to look for the other survivor, and if the one on the ground is bleeding out then they still have the chance to hook. Might stop people from getting bored and disconnecting too.
P.s. I am genuinely curious no sarcasm or salt intended.
As long as it grants the Killer Bloodpoints relative to the amount of health you had left in your Dying health bar, sure.
Trust me, i don't like it either when a Survivor hides very well for those 4 "Dying state" minutes.
But i said the BP thing cause, if you have a button to suicide while Dying, you could very easily reduce the BP gain to the mere 50 in Deviousness.
And you could also troll them by making them walk all the way to you, then die just before you get picked up.
This isn't necessarily to look out for Killers, but just to reduce potential trolling.
Sacrificing & suiciding have the same results (they're dead), but one of those is just not rewarding at all.
Because you aren't thinking about the ramifications of this change and what it means. There's a reason for the bleed out existing and what you're asking has many issues attached with it.
Because the hatch is a free undeserved escape. The equivalent of this would be you powering all gens and right as you open the gate you just automatically fall over dead. That doesn't sound fair does it. That's basically what the hatch is.
That's why you just allow the player to increase bleed out speed rather than a straight suicide. Killers gain BP based on blood lost, rather than time in dying state and that way it works out the same whether they bleed out in 1 minute or 2 minutes.
Well...
2 are dead.
Killer slugs 1 to prevent hatch escape.
Killer finds other one and downs them.
The one they just downed suicides, cause they see the other found the hatch by spinning in place or smthn.
They get the hatch anyway.
Rare? Maybe. But it's still a thing that can be done.
Hm, not bad.
Maybe because your suggestion affects Killers as well? Just a guess. Slugging is the only counter to the hatch, until they give it a proper fix/rework. Expect people to disagree if it affects them.
Its a game. Everyone is entitled to play it and enjoy it as much as they want as long as its not hacking. Getting a 4k can be really satisfying for several people. So, why not work towards that instead of being happy with lower expectations? Its definitely a very subjective thing, because everyone expects different stuff from a match. The socially appropriate thing to do would be not to criticise someone just because their fun objectives in a game are different than yours (not you specifically, just in general).
Survivor does not have a terror radius, nor a red stain. They also have a little perk called urban evasion which is great for sneaking around the map against any killer that isnt running (and good at utilizing) whispers. This will almost always cause a hatch standoff, which is boring for both parties and heavily favors the survivor.
As it stands, there is very little urgency for the hatch, especially after the "lockers hide auras" change. If the survivor isnt running around the middle of the map leaving a giant trail of scratch marks everywhere, they have a very good chance of getting the hatch before the killer finds them (and can down them before they can damage boost to or collapse on top of it.)
A lot of the reason hatch standoffs even happen is because of a combination os spite and pride. Both sides are guilty, but killers tend to be more salty about it because they are essentially set up to fail in that scenario, unless the survivors plays it very poorly.
Lets be honest, that still happens now except one just disconnects lol
I know.
I was just trying to exclude every way other than this idea.
Someone with an unused Unbreakable/No Mither should not be able to use that ability.
Yes, that is what I'm saying. It's a team game. You aren't accomplishing your goal solo. To get them before they hatch you would literally have to find them way away from the hatch and get 2 hits in before they reach it. You realize how unlikely that is? That scenario is only happening if the survivors screws up tremendously or is a rank 20.
I just waited last guy to find the hatch for 5 minutes. If I slugged would it made it sooner? I don’t know. I wish there was a way they find it sooner though.
Actually most games have the ability to slow down the bleed out.
Some have a "hold on" and a "give up" option. A give up option wouldn't be fair kn DBD but being able to half the time would be nice.
