for cosmic i was thinking more of fear of the unknown and the void compared to lovecraftian monster type horror
I managed to find "the complete works of H.P Lovecraft" on amazon as a digital book for 1$ lol. Ive been reading it off and on for years, about 94% of the way through it.
Lovecraftian has quite the wide range of horror involved as it starts with aquatic horror and moved into stuff like interdimensional beings / aliens that populated earth millions of years before dinosaurs / cosmic godlike beings / dreamworlds and the void / the unknown creatures and their cities at the bottom of the ocean, including a sleeping god that manipulates people on earth through telepathy while it sleeps (Cthulhu) / vampires / demons / an invisible house sized monster / a meteor that corrupts, infects, and twists all life around it / a giant godlike creature in the middle of the universe consuming worlds (Azathoth) / aliens from the past transfering their minds to people in the future / a mountain range so high you cannot see the top, and at the top is a dead civilization of aliens killed off by their slave labour creations (Shogoth) which are massive blobs of regenerating slime / and many more things that they basicly say "its too horrifying to put into words" etc lol.
So id guess you mean aquatic horror and cosmic horror
