What triggers the anti-tunneling punishments??
Here's where Im confused and would really like a little bit of information. If a survivor is hooked and is left to die on hook do the survivors still get the speed bonus?
Also, if you were playing like Trapper, if they go into the dying state and choose not to pick themselves up and die [unlikely but still possible] will that trigger it?
Not enough information on this was given and I want to know if Ill be punished when playing killer for something out of my control. I dont tunnel or slug, but I dont want to be stuck at 3 gens with someone on hook and they die, then suddenly everyone gets a 25% bonus.

I think in general, there needs to be a check in place whether or not the killer interacted directly with the survivor in any way, leading to their death.
As to make it non-abusable by anyone.
In what world do you think that eliminating a survivor is some kind of "gotcha" to the killer?
It's this game actually "regression simulator" for some people still?
they aren’t supposed to, but the end of the notes says it’s a “known issue” that it happens. Thanks BHVR for clearly half cooking these “tunneling” punishments that affect non-tunneling situations to the point that it doesn’t even work properly but you’re pushing it out anyway. Wouldn’t expect anything different.
Sounds like no. They need to die directly to either a hook action or a mori. If they are left on hook, it sounds like they don't get a penalty.
