SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: My friend noticed this when we were testing Premonition bug in custom matches. It seems sometimes when Springtrap uses his doors to travel it causes some of the ambient noise to go silent for the survivors. This happened on the Gas Haven and Lery's maps most likely happens in any map with some ambient noise in it but did not test others and it did happen on the same map later when I played against Springtrap in normal match.

PLATFORM: PC

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: Load into Gas Heaven map → Springtrap uses a door to move to another → listen as a survivor the ambient sound suddenly going silent for a brief moment

VIDEO: Don't know if this works but my friend did record small clip on steam of it the sound goes silent on 10 second mark on first

another one in Lery's

PLAYER LOGS: I think the first log is the one we were testing it and the second has the normal match where it happened. Not 100% sure so uploaded both.

well we`ll get the answer.

imo it shouldnt be a feature even if it adds to gameplay because it's not accessible to people without headphones and it gives the killer too much built-in counterplay further making already useless cameras even less useful.

survivors should have to rely on cameras and revealing springtrap to tell the team he is teleporting or where he is teleporting.

Will there be update on the bug status?

Hope this gets fixed, it kinda makes the screen warning redundant and highly discourages using the doors cause it alerts everyone globally.

it also creates a gap between people who have good hearing / headphones and those who dont.

if bhvr wanted to make springtrap's TP this telegraphed, they should make an actual sound / visual clue for survivors they can see regardless of the door orientation.
