Leader or Prove thyselfe?

Title says it all. No salt included. Solo player. Does  leader affects all but gens and thyself only gens and +bp?

Comments

  • Prove thyself, because of the points.
  • Well.... Prove Thyself. Cause points and i like doing gens with someone
Leader is nice cause you basically give Botany Knowledge to your team but meeeeeh

  • Prove thyself, it helps with the one thing everybody should be doing and gives points.
  • Prove thyself is nice for points, but leader is nice for other things. If someone saves you, they do so faster and if you don't bring in self care or a med kit, it makes people healing you faster, which is nice.

  • Gotta love Prove Thyself for the points. 2 Gens with someone and you almost max out objective.

Leader is pretty sweet though now for everything but gens.
I wish Leader gave a point bonus too though for giving your teammates a boost.

Whether it's healing, breaking a totem, sabo'ing a hook. I always felt like if they gave some kind of bonus 'assist' points to the person running Leader then people might stick around. Giving someone else the progress boost on a one person objective and getting points for it instead of just running off.

  • Leader lets you do gens faster as a full team (3+ Survivors) and also lets your allies heal you and cleanse totems faster. Prove Thyself gets you points.
Technically speaking Leader is still better if you want to win but Prove Thyself does get you more points.

Leader doesn't affect repairing gens any longer.
'Increases the other Survivors' Healing, Sabotage, Unhooking, Cleansing, Opening Exit Gates, and Chest Search speeds by 15/20/25 % when they are within 8 metres of range from you.'

  • Outside of group healing which is already fast, Leader is really bad.
  • Healing, sabotage, unhooking, cleansing, opening exit gates etc. are already easy and fast to do. You can only see its effect when somebody opens and exit gate but that is about it. Waste of a perk slot imo.

In the last few days I see many threads claiming how OP prove thyself is but it only makes a 15-20 second difference honestly. It might seem like a lot but in reality, if you equip we'll make it and heal somebody with it, you are going to save 16 seconds for your team. Not to mention that you could save that 15-20 second by working on different generators anyway. So the perk is only good for bloodpoints.

If you have to choose one, choose prove thyself and equip bond. Pretty much every game you will max out the objective category. If you have bonus objective offerings, you really get a good amount of bloodpoints.

It does to my knowledge. They just removed that from the perk's description for some reason. You still do gens faster around people with Leader I've done it myself.

Are you sure? I played yesterday with leader tier 3. Once a survivor unhooked and healed me, i didnt notice a 25% speed bonus. the healing bar also didnt turn yellow.

Maybe it's broken again the perk.. because when i equip it i saw a speed bonus in teammates healing speed

yesterday i noticed that if i unhook a suvivor which has leader and I heal him the healing bar turns yellow and its faster.
but if I have leader, and another suvivor is healing me, the bar doesnt turn yellow but probably the speed bonus is still there... i am still not sure

The Speed Bonus is active, it is not displayed. Same when you get healed via Med Kit.
