Has Anyone Noticed This?

Normally within DBD we get Long Wall L-Pallet Loops or L-Wall L-Pallet Loops since they are the more standard loop that's been in the game, but recently Ive been noticing an uptick in the "Ormand Loops" and T-Wall L-Wall Loops on other maps (more specifically Long Wall Z-Pallet Loops, L-Wall Z-Pallet Loops, and L-Wall Long Wall Loops)

These loops are definitely weaker than the standard loops you see, and Idk, it feels weird to be getting these loops more consistently since they can be difficult to play around and many Killer powers functionally make them weak.

  • They very rarely put this kind of thing in the patch notes, but changing tile spawns, replicating tires to other maps (usually the weaker tiles), tile chain prevention, pallet and tile RNG weighting, and so on are things they are regularly changing.

This is also why I make it a point to include this any time game balance is being discussed, since "weakening the strength of maps, tiles, and pallets" has been an ongoing effort (by demand) and usually only the full map reworks ever make it into patch notes.

Just one of the many ways they've been pushing kill rates higher over the past few years at this point.

I remember in peak Skull Merchant era they made the gens favour her more like with making 2 gens spawn in the rpd main lobby consistently
