Can someone tell my why the bar is red?

    Looks like the Survivor helping you is injured? He could have a debuff from the Killer's attack.

    Maybe the speed penalty for working on a gen with someone else? You know, you got the speed boost from PT but also the default gen speed penalty.

    I didn't use prove thyself but somebody else used it, here is what happened.

    There was a chest nearby, so he went to open the chest. My bar was yellow because of the perk.

    He came back and we started to work on the generator together, the bar became normal.

    We finished the generator and I started to repair another generator with somebody else, the bar was red.

    So prove thyself affected me, maybe it doesn't grant the speed bonus to its owner right now?

    Prove Thyself negates the penalty. This is what he's talking about.

    I know, but maybe it's bugged and it's shown as red.

    Looks like a known issue and fixed internally at the moment.
    Maybe they'll throw out a patch soon to fix it or it'll get fixed with the event release

    KNOWN ISSUES
    A Survivor who has Prove Thyself equipped does not gain any repair speed bonus for each survivor working on the same generator.[FIXED INTERNALLY]
    When a Survivor disconnects their icon does not update to the "Disconnected" status. Their icon show as "Healthy" in the tally screen.[FIXED INTERNALLY]
    The Bloodweb doesn't refresh properly when switching characters while on the level up prompt.[FIXED INTERNALLY]

    I think the reason is:

    When you work alone you work at a 100% speed.
    When you work together you work at a 90% speed.
    With Prove Thyself you get +10% over that 90%
    Thus you work at 99% the speed, meaning less than 100, as indicated in red.

    (multiplication factors in the code: X * 0.9 * 1.1 = 0.99X)

    Yup.

    They made a change where co-op actions appear as red to indicate the efficiency debuff while working with another person(s).

    Yeah but you have to have people working with you on the gen, dudee ######### that perk i rather use WGLF
