Why does NOED proc on a hatchet hit, or pyramid head range attack, but friends til the end only procs on the obsession when they are hit with it. This makes gameplay so wildly random. Not to mention add on procs and how it seems skull merchants dont seem to proc at all.

    Survivors hit by a Special Attack do not go down from being Exposed, and do not apply effects like Sloppy Butcher's Mangled and Hemorrhage unless status otherwise.

    NOED does not proc on hatchet hits or any other special attack.

    Do you mean telling you you have the status effect? Friends til the end pops up every time someone is hooked especially if you're the obsession. Noed tells everyone it's active when someone is hit after gens are powered by anything because it also gives a pretty decent speed buff.

    noed does not gets revealed if survivor hit by special attack (unlike Devour Hope)

    first, noed isn't revealed on special attack hits, devour is though. second, those are revealed to everyone because... everyone is affected unlike ftte.
