Skull Merchant Rework Teased!

Here we go!

God I hope this rework isn't just "drones can be disabled without giving the survivors claw traps" because then she's legitimately just worse than Trapper.

This screenshot does not inspire confidence at all they thought this through.

Time to place your bets, will she be reworked in an interesting way that makes her healthier for the game or will she just get gutted to the point where No Mither looks preferable to playing as her?

I would bet on the sadako situation:weaker but tougher than it was, but not in triangles

pizzavessel15

yeah and it seems like her power is still just a stationary drone. shell still be bad if not worse.

it honestly pisses me off.

every single time a character gets deleted from any game, someone's favorite character can never be played again.

happened with freddy, happened with aatrox, probably many characters I never knew about...

it's awful and should never be a thing.

except for the water elemental monkey evolution...

I think once they made a poll in japan and it was the only pokemon that was no one's favorite... poor dude/dudette.

That was SImisear not Simipour.

oh sorry. I didn't bother checking and still won't... you could be lying and I would buy it... I equally dislike all 3.

at least the pre evolutions are cute.

"In their minds, only their fun and enjoyment is all that matters, and ######### everyone else."

are u even suprise at this point tho?

"your fun isn't my job" is a staple in the dbd community

Nah I'm not surprised at all tbh. It's why I stop feeling bad for tunneling anymore. Whenever I try to play nice and spread out hooks it always leads to the same outcome, me not getting any kills, no pips or rank-ups, and maybe a few BP that I dont really need. This game just isn't rewarding enough to play "nice" A killer can play for hooks and get nothing but t-bags at the gates and gg ez in the end game.

Aurelle

Here's to hoping that her rework will actually make her fun to play as and play against.

Green_Sliche

Inb4 they turn her into a killer who's power can be disabled by survivors without any penalty to them and she becomes another M1 killer who can't perform at all without top tier addons.

crogers271

I suspect if they make her the most fun, balanced, killer in the game for both sides, it will still take me months to get rid of the sour feeling every time I see a Skully.

But here's hoping for an improvement.

To be fair, Twins are unpleasant to play as and against, but they aren't Skull Merchant

I would rather face twins than snooze merchant

At least I can get fun out of playing dodge the baby

wow are they gonna buff another killer again?

What, you'd prefer SM to stay the way she is? I'd take a killer that kills me in 20 seconds over a killer that holds me hostage for 50+ minutes any day.

Also, it won't be a simple buff or nerf. Her concept is fundamentally flawed. She excells at holding a 3gen and defending totems. She isn't weak at the moment and the devs know that (No doubt she has a pretty high kill rate. Nobody wants to play against Chess Merchant after all).
