Can someone please explain to me why this community would be so toxic? I'm the pink Fe they are they white St. I got out the hatch when all team mates died, I took 1 hook, unhooked 2 teammates, did 2 gens, healed team mates and at the end found hatch...... apparently I should have thrown myself at the killer and be done with it out of honor...... I don't know why survivors can be sooooo toxic to each other. Its simple turn off the game if it bothers you that much

Even though I always try to help if it's not unmanageable, at the end of the day YOU bought the game to play however you want and nobody can make you do anything you don't feel like doing, I wouldn't even bother responding after the first message or two because there's no getting through to anyone else, funny how those players who talk that way are always the ones who will leave you behind in a heartbeat anyway but they expect you to do more than they wouldve done, too many people expect to get carried in this game

Indeed, I ended up blocking them on xbox and reporting them to xbox and on dbd with screen shots, but as always nothing will get done about it, again I think the therapy would help

Hope you reported him on the platform. DBD can't do anything about messages outside endgame chat, but I'd hope whatever console you're on would agree this is totally unacceptable.

Disable messages on console, ignore chat on PC. Don't read don't write! This is the golden rule and you will be much happier.
I'm gonna say it, DBD attracts a very large amount of people with mental illness, and the gameplay is frustrating. So you get people like that guy. Like @DBD78 said, disable messages on whatever platform you're on and move on. I've never had any good experiences with DBD chat. At least, the bad far outnumber the good. DBD is more fun when you leave the post game on auto pilot. ######### even killers and survivors that don't BM in game suddenly turn vile in post game. It's nuts. So I keep it disabled.
