Way to make Breakable Walls more Interesting

Breakable walls right now only serve as objects to block movement through environment or to turn a window into a god window until broken, making the wall effectively a pre dropped god pallet.

In order for my change to make sense you must first make it so most (but not all) breakable walls spawn unbuilt. Survivors can use toolboxes and some of their time to build or rebuild new breakable walls in places that benefit them. Additionally, the breakable walls that spawn built (which typically should be ones that are a hindrance to the survivors such as the coal tower 2nd story walls) can be broken with toolboxes.

This gives survivors a secondary objective that gives them a tangible benefit to them, gives toolboxes some purpose outside of gen rushing, and makes the breakable walls that no killer worth their salt will ever break have purpose.

You could also tie in a rework to keys into this new system. Ever since the much deserved hatch nerf, keys are kind of a sad item. You can rework keys to expend a large number of charges (such as 10 seconds worth) to "vault" through a breakable wall. I imagine this would look like pieces of the breakable wall floating apart, creating a space that the survivor can go through which then closes behind the survivors.

  • I always wanted Breakable Walls to be reworked to function more as Buildable Walls or pallets; so that Survivors have the means and tools to to create their own defense. Allow them to strategic invest in some time in building their own effective loops to waste even more of the Killer's time to destroy or be looped.

If there is a certain doorway that can be blocked with a typical Breakable wal, the Survivors can build it in 20 seconds. Did a Noobie got Shack Pallet destroyed way too early; you can repair the lost pallet with a brand new one for like 20 seconds. You can have new perks or used toolboxes or a new item (Hammer/toolbelt) to fix up and speed up the build effects, or offer new effects like increase stun time or reduce pallets/walls strength for bp

  • Infinitely replaceable God loops are a problem for obvious reasons

If you need to use a toolbox to build them it's not infinitely replaceable, toolboxes have a limited amount of charges

  • I disagree with this. Personally I'd replace breakable walls with breakable vaults so the killer is actually rewarded for breaking them by rendering the loop essentially useless afterward.
