its going worse as of right now. you are paring red ranks to ash ranks. #########

    Ranks mean nothing anymore though. Your MMR is what decides who you get matched with, and that number is hidden.

    Ranks just shows how much a person is playing each month rather than how good they are. Anyone can reach red ranks if they play enough. Someone being ash rank doesn't mean they're new/bad, it just means they haven't played much lately.

    Yeah, not true.

    We have some threads explaining that grades are pretty much still similar to the old rank system.

    An Ash grade could be very good and only haven´t played much. But sadly the system doesn´t work as intended and you therefore get real Ash grade players paired with red grades which can turn out pretty bad.

    But in Q&A they told they knew and are working on it. You can hope.
