Someone got banned for custom icons?

I know that the devs won't hunt people down for using custom icon packs but EAC might flag for that.
The question: is any case known of someone got flagged for that?
Since the report team will probably get any details needed from EAC it would be great to know how high the chance really is .

I have been using them for over 5 months and haven't had issues, never have heard about people getting banned for it

Really? I heard that the devs changed how the files are packed some time ago and this could be problematic, u know anything about that?

Yes, it could be problematic, and everyone who uses custom icons could be banned. It depends on whether EAC detects it or not, and you're doing it at your own risk.

Couldn't the devs set an exception for eac not to scan files? For example "Folder xy is not allowed to be scanned by eac"
This would be so easy to help the community

And then people who are good at programming would find ways to exploit that.
I'm sorry, but if you're actively paying attention to your perks' icons while playing, you're paying attention to the wrong thing.

There is no way to exploit the game in a way to get advantage by the perk icon folder.
Also, your argument could be applied on cosmetics aswell, not really a good one

Cosmetics are on the part of the screen you're looking at - your character. Perk icons are not.
Look, bottom line is, as far as anyone knows, nobody has been banned for using custom icons, but if it does happen, it's your own fault.
