Why The Blight is so OP?

I don't understand why this killer is so OP and nobody says anything. The turns he makes are absurd, practically impossible to escape. And why doesn't his power have a cooldown? Honestly facing any player with the least skill with this killer is very frustrating. A killer with high mobility and easy damage. Amazing how this game is so unbalanced.

People will just complain about the next thing they hate about blight. Alch ring gone...? Vial + shredded notes will be complained about.

People will switch to something like iri tag. Iri tag will be complained about. That's removed.

People will switch to compound 21...Wall hacks will be complained about...Thatll be removed

People will switch to cool down after rush add ons. People will complain that he can rush and recovers too quickly (see Billys recovery after saw add ons that no longer exist)

God if someone decides to nerf Adrenaline Vile all hope is lost. But, the devs have constantly improved Blight while deciding Twins and Clown needs some nerfs.

  • Blight is a watered down Nurse.

It took them YEARS to address that broken killer.

  • He's strong, but not OP. You can counter him, you just need some understanding of his mechanics. Plus, he does have a cooldown, unless he has Alchemist Ring, which IMO should get a change. Otherwise, just practice against him is the best, and learning how to bait his swing when he's in rush can be really beneficial.

Do you still play at 20 fps? Have you experienced Blight with 20 fps?

If not, then you don't understand that it has everything to do with Blight because he is affected most by bad fps and lag than any other killer.

He's talking about going against Blight, not playing them. I know that just killer in general is extremely hard with low fps and you got to get a bit creative (even though at least on console the 30 fps seems to be much more consistent than what I was dealing with)

  • Lag flicks still exist because people found new ways to do them unfortunately. Other than that and Alchemist Ring though, Blight is perfectly balanced like the other two S-tier killers.

    The Blight is fine.

    The Exploit is not.

The Alch Ring/Blighted Crow w/ Ruin Undying Tinkerer Pop vs solos is also not.

But at base, without using any exploits, Blight is an example of a perfectly made killer.

Just because a build synergize well with him doesn't mean its not okay

  • I consider Blight actually balanced, like how Deathslinger used to be. You should play with him to better understand his movement and what he’s capable of, and what his limits are.

Tip: If you make it to a tile where he’s on one side bouncing, and you’re on the other- if you two can see each other, stay in the center of whatever is between you two. He has to pick left or right before his next move or he’ll be forced to take a shot. If you move first, then he pretty much gets a guaranteed hit. He’s waiting to see what direction you’re heading before he strikes, after a bounce. If he goes left, you go right and wrap around to the other side and vice versa. If he’s forced to take a shot, then move to another tile to create distance or play the one youre at if it’s safe. Always put obstacles between you and him. His slide is bullshit I agree. Sometimes you just gotta hope he messes up and whiffs.

The build in general is not okay in the current state of the game when facing solos.

Yes you arent wrong. However survivor can be aware of those flicks and simply try to position themselves so that hit would not be possible or quick run into different position cause they know Blight's line of sight is very limited when he is doing it.

Of course you cant avoid it 100% of the time but depending on map you playing, you have always options to do so.

I find killers like these more fun to verse, looping M1 killers is the same thing over and over

Stretched res says hello. They don't lose sight of you while doing this and even proudly display their 900x1080 res on their profile like its a good thing...

In the current state of the game, when gens flylike crazy, with survivors running skillless and underseved second chances as their perks, yes, its okay to use it.

Thinking I don't also want those things nerfed to the ground too lol

it isn't bait, this is clearly some one who's just misinformed and/or inexperienced

You know how it is on here. If someone doesn't agree or like something you say, then they'll usually call it bait...
