New tome release date?
It shows up in the loading screen but not in the actual game. Is it getting released tomorrow?

yes, tomorrow.

That said, woof - is it going to be a miserable time until the Boil Over killswitch activates.
Thank you both.
what killswitch? the perk is working as intended and therefore the killswitch won't be activated.
It's being used a lot by coordinated squads on certain maps to take the game hostage. Either it, or the maps are going to have to be disabled, otherwise it's a green light to griefers. It's easier to just tweak the perk than totally redesign the RPD library and the Eyrie central structure.
Not actual hostage situations as there is still the bleedout timer and the ability to slug?
probably same time as updates, so 17 CET? But that’s just a guess, can’t really remember if that’s been the case for tomes
These groups either use No Mither or Exponential and sit in one of these areas at the last gen. You can't really slug them unless you also sit and literally camp them out, which is a miserable experience.
So… it is working as intended and is just pretty powerful in specific situations and not actual game breaking buggy?
doesn’t sound like a killswitch situation for me..
but I guess some adjustments might be coming in the upcoming patches that usually follow such an update.
If that's working as intended, then I think the devs and I are on a very different page design wise.
This is still pretty weak, and only useful if your goal is to stall games out forever, to grief the killer.
I'm quite surprised that you are in favor of this.
I am not in favor of this. I actually think the 25 % are way too much and need adjustment.
but is something that was expected especially after the PTB feedback and the devs had to be aware of how it can be used.
i just explained that it probably doesn’t fall under their criteria for when they use the killswitch. That is used for actual bugs, exploits etc. if I recall their explanation right.
