Why is there no incentive to grind "grades"

The bloodpoint rewards are a literal joke. And MMR makes climbing harder than ever because you never really get "easy" games to blast through its just the same difficulty the entire time. Seems like there's literally no point to playing a lot of games

One would hope that you're having fun playing the games.

  • You're right. one week ago I've asked my friend when we played survivor, "why do we trin and win? what are we gaining from that?"

What's the point of me winning in the sweatfest, and i have nothing to show for? 250k bp? I do that in 3 games with BBQ and some offerings.

Fair enough dude. If you're not enjoying a game that you're playing, you're right. There is no point. I hope you can find something that sparks your joy, whether it's in DBD or elsewhere. 😥

  • nobody grinds grades because they can play bad and go back to ash ranks and sweat on new players because that's the kind of community we have

  • No incentive while stating the incentive.

If you don't want the bp then don't worry about the grade. It has nothing to do with the rest of the game.

Are you aware that grades don't affect the level of players you will go against?

  • there is already, bloodpoints, as you said, the more you play the more you get, seems fair and a good gift for me.

It's not for difficulty or skill, literally just an indicator of how much you and your matched players have played the current month.

The BP reward is the minimum we have been asking for, for some time now. I wouldn't put it past eventually getting a cosmetic reward of some sort in the future as well.

  • 500K BP is 500k BP more than we got in the old system. I'm sure everyone want's it to be higher and I truly believe it will be but that is an incentive. As for High Grade only meaning you play alot that I disagree. If I play 50 games and survive/4k 47 of them and you play 50 games and get curb stomped in 47 we won't have the same grade. You have to play well to pip especially on survivor not just play matches.

  • The devs admit that the grind is too rough and there is a ready built system that can give more bloodpoints at the end of the month. This would undoubtably make many people play more if they doubled or tripled the payout.

More bloodpoints on the 13th of every month seems like a win-win for everyone to me.
