Tbf, Spirit needed a change anyway.
Why do people keep talking about high MMR when they are not even at high MMR? The number of Killers who will go against actually really strong Survivors will be very small.

She needed a balance, not a nerf.
Devs only turned the Spirit in another killer that survivors have control over. Now she basically relies on survivors to do well. If the survivor does not do a mistake, she loses.
Because no one can actually see their MMR they all think that that completely average group of survivors that absolutely wrecked them was actually a high MMR group.
