We won't know. They won't tell us what the win conditions are.
It's either maps or gen speeds. Gen speeds would be fine if this game didn't have a fair amount of survivor sided maps. And some underpowered killers.
But they said themselves that they can better evaluate the balance at high ranks with this new matchmaking, and make more meaningful changes that will hopefully also affect high level play positively.
Also, going afk to derank is just deranking without even trying. If you are not as good as others in the game, you will lose matches, but only until your skill rating fits your skill level, at that point you will see more balanced matches.
That is what I think will happen as well ...in those scenarios i wonder if survivors will move up or down as well?
It is kinda cute that you think that so many Killers are at the highest Level.
Most of the Killers will face equal Survivors and just pretend that they lose against Tournament Squads.
They can only depip so far, and even then the pip system won't be entitely indicative of what quality of opponent they'll face. Effectively, they'll ######### themselves over, so if they want to act like dicks then let them.
It's not going to be as obvious as the current system as to what quality of opponent they'll face and when. It's easy to mess up any system, but when there's no indicator as to how far down the less skilled players are, nor what a great game looks like and how quickly it'll chuck them back up the ladder if they do one of their demolition jobs, then they'll ruin their part in the system in the worst, uneducated way.
I wouldn't be surprised if part of the reason BHVR are not revealing the details is because they have a system in place to deal with such situations (a possible example: being afk neither improves nor lessens their skill score).
Which already happens now. I've seen plenty of killers cry about swf in end game chat when I play solo survivor and we all escaped.
Its not because you are solo that the other are solo too. A 3 man is really a competant team to face
they might be able to track if a killer was AFK or not (they can track Tbags btw)
Whenever it happens the worst has been a duo with 2 solos. But I've seen it happen when all 4 people are solos.
Some killers are always going to look for an excuse why they lost.
I've considered this possibility. I'm quite intrigued to know, honestly. AFKers are pretty obvious even if they rubber-band or periodically play, so maybe the game will know to largely discredit that games performance. That would honestly be hilarious karma to have those AFK killers completely waste their time like how they waste everybody else's.
True but the game provide a lot of excuse for killer its a 4v1 and each survivor are able to 1v1 the killer. The majority of the map are survivor side so it does not help. My personal opinion is for a killer to win a match he need to outskill the survivor by a lot but for survivor they just need to have comm if they are less skill and they can beat almost any killer
All you need to do is look at the highest level and understand how that trickles down. Yes, at red rank, killers aren't struggling for a few hooks. But it is still not in their favor, and mmr will prove that quite easily once people get consistent matches. I digress, yeah, you are correct, most people with common sense would understand a 4v1 is in advantage of the majority unless the solo role is egregiously overtuned. But you know what they say about common sense, it is not very common.
