You would need to do it in game. I believe you don't need video evidence of end game chat offenses. If this was on DMs on console then BHVR can't do much about that.

I've been called a "monkey" or someting on those lines more times than i can remember, i've always reported them for racism and kept looking their profiles for weeks, i can asure you that IF ingame reports are ever taken seriously, then ban only comes out when these TOXIC AS ######### players aleady ruinned several ppl days or even worse...

im not even black but they asked if i was , then i said "something wrong with that" then they said "yes" and a bunch of black stereotypes. made me a lil mad ngl.
Verbal abuse in end-game chat only requires reporting in game, if you want to give more details, you can open a ticket on the Support website, but it's not required for this kind of offenses (https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new)

you can report directly through steam. just send a report by clicking on their profile. additionally, you can block all contact.

Reporting to Steam works only if the offense happens in a Steam message, they don't take action in the game, because it's not a Valve game.
