For legal reasons, that may not happen.
I haven't seen anyone suggesting adding him, so I think I'll be the first one to do so
I'm surprised by that fact, he's really popular
Then make it legal and make it happen, what's the issue
what
It's a licensing issue. Friday the 13th the game got sued over it.
Well, let the dead by daylight developers solve it and get the license, nothing hard
Are you trolling or do you know nothing about licensing?
It's not as simple as "getting the license", it involes a LOT of work.
Jason is currently in Lawsuit hell, its not just as simple as "just do it lol"
It's a lawsuit going on since 2018. It's why Friday the 13th died, and it's why the game hasn't updated since 2018. No one can use Jason until it's resolved. The dbd devs can't do jack ######### about it.
Also, you say "nothing hard". Getting a license can be extremely challenging if the people holding it are difficult to deal with.
and also money
many people have suggested him. Their have been concepts menu themes fan-made names. He's in a lawsuit that keeps him from going anywhere and until that is resolved he cannot come to dbd.
A #########-ton
If you mean this, it is false.
He's been suggested a lot and I'm guessing for years now. I know the devs have said that Jason has a standing invitation to be added to the game whenever. The problem is the legal disputes over the rights to the Friday the 13th property. Unfortunately because of Covid, the IP rights case was pushed back. It was supposed to be finished in December, but unfortunately one of the judges presiding over the case passed away, which pushed the case back even further. Now because court cases are kind of backed up, they had to shelve this case since it's not really a priority case and there are much more important cases in the court systems that need to be taken care of. So it might be a while until we see Jason in here.
The world would be a better place if people did research before posting things ngl
One day, I hope.
He's the final piece of the puzzle.
