3 Speeds for the EGC Timer

There should be 3 instead of 2.

Currently we have slow for when a survivor is hooked or slugged, and fast for anything else.

There should be a third option.

  1. Slow for hooked/slugged survivors.
  2. Medium (current fast) for if someone is in a chase.
  3. Fast (current fast x1.5) for if no one is in a chase.

EDIT: My reasoning is why else would you need that much time if no one is currently in any danger? Plus, sometimes we just want the match to be over with.

  • Killers: Make it faster.

    Survivors: Make it slower.

    It's fine where it is.

  • Seems like a good idea to me. Sometimes after a bad loss as Killer you just want the Survivors to just leave and they almost never do. This'll give Killers a way to make them leave faster that doesn't involve them having to go over to the doors to force them out.

As someone who gets labeled as a "Survivor Main" in most forum posts that I comment in... This makes no sense to me.

The End Game Collapse is not a mechanic necessarily designed to kill survivors. It's only there to ensure that the game comes to an eventual end.

I think that if the timer were to also be based off of chase conditions, you would have a lot of killers chasing survivors while facing backwards. A lot like how Deep Wounds used to work, and with the initial release of the Legion.

I do not think the End Game Collapse is in need of further changes.

I didn't mean for it to be a way to kill survivors. I'm just saying that if no one is in danger, then they should leave.

As for exploiting, you make a good point. Maybe instead of being in a chase, it's if the killer is touching scratch marks?
