Why are DBD players against a starcraft 2-like arcade mode/customized matches?

It'd have brought me to DBD much sooner. Would it get new players and breathe life and possibly make a new era to the game? Maybe???

    It's Reddit. There's no guarantee anyone is going to see your post outside of those who browse new, and naturally not everyone who does will be interested in your title.

    Most of the meme posts and pictures are upvoted and commented on while legitimate posts are neglected.


    But would you want an arcade mode in DBD? I'd want to be able to set survivor count, killer count, and gen count. Would maps need to be altered too? Maybe. But that's the whole point of an arcade mode. Everything can be altered so much that the base game is unrecognizable yet the base game is in a separate mode so it's still there in the actual game, just not the arcade mode.

    Because they dont want to split the queue. They said this long before they introduced dedicated cough.. Ahem..

    They dont want a setup like Killing Floor either "cuz people will farm points".... oh no...

    Anyway, No. I don't see them able to benefit from it since they had to introduce Crossplay to alleviate the absolute headache waiting 20-30 minutes for a game as killer. This would set them back.
